This is one of the photos I brought to George at Lakeview. It was from our first tour. He actually remembered the name of the hotel where this was shot. I remember him singing (there’s another shot of him with the “band” looking very happy!).
That evening, the troupe did their best to support the local brewery.
I do recall sharing a bit of Vinac with Ivan, our bus driver who also turned out to be my good buddy for that trip. He didn’t speak any English. We got along well. He was our drive for almost the whole tour.
We can credit Ivan with teaching us the real meaning of “Nema Problema!”
