So, if memory and the notes on this particular envelope serve, it was somewhere around the beginning of 1975 that George asked me to shoot pictures at a rehearsal. There’s a story behind that that’ll probably show up here later. Anyway, this was at Morelli’s and he brought along several trunks. Turned out that this was the very first time that anyone had seen the Croatian Costumes. In this shot, George is looking over the women after they have tried them on. Again, for the first time.
It is one of George’s favorite shots of the troupe. Mine too.
Figured this was a good way to kick off things here…………….More photos to come.
